Synopsis

Open as Price, Professor of Aesthetics, walks into the Steppenwolf, hip bar&dance in Berkeley.
No eyeglasses, tallish, wavey blondish hair, attired professorial, soft coat & tie, laced comfy shoes.
His movements are smooth, slow, not precisely effete. His voice is orange jello, wobbly, colorful.
He carries a slim briefcase with exams, essays to correct.
Appears indifferent to what's around him yet of course extremely aware.
The Steppenwolf is darkish, small tables, chairs, candles melted on wine bottles. People dance, others drink at the small bar on the left.
Music is a hip puzzle from past&present.
Madonna. Hammer.
"How does it feel to be a Rolling Stone."
Maler. Bach. Heroica.
"Imagine."
Jazz.
Frequented by black/white/yellow/brown.
Students from the university & occassionally Professors of dubious orgin..
Before long a wild party exists at price's table. He continuous correcting papers, making coments now & then.
